We will organize the sale so that related items are together in the same area.  Items are merchandised in an effort to create sales and salespeople are stationed throughout the sales effort for security.

Our fee is a percentage of 25 - 35% and this is based on the total sale. It depends on how much detail (clean up of the house, yard maintenance, clean up after the sale, and the condition of the items) is required before the sale.

The client and Ms Mercy's Estate Sales Service will determine sale prices on items.  Often clients and Ms Mercy will agree on an idea as to what amount to price items.  We try to honor that request and ask you for a lower price which we can negotiate (if needed).  Ms Mercy's Estate Sale Serves will try to get the best price for you, but we do need room to negotiate.  In an estate sale we have prices on all items.  Since our fee is based on the total sale; it is to our advantage to sell your items at the highest possible price.

We will leave your property after the sale and all items are removed and the house is broom clean.  Our service is often requested by real estate agents or clients because we prepare the house for sale.  Agents also like estate sales because more people will see the house during an estate sale than any other time that the house is for sale.  Often the house is sold during the estate sale.  If an item does not sell we offer several options for your consideration.  Ms Mercy's Antiques & Collectibles can place remaining items in our Antique & Consignment store located at 716 Front St., Morgan City, LA  70380, some items maybe donated to charity.  We do very little without your knowledge and viewpoint. We can also place any unsold items in an auction house.
